Time Management

Is it possible to find yourself in fluctuation with a multitude of these categories? It seems that I am changing my obstacles for each quarter that I am teaching. Could it be possible that I adjust those needs to meet the needs of the students? I am in amazement of the shifting that I can do for each quarter.

Interesting points Sandra. For some, operating in a non linear mode can be stressful. For others, it gives us a kind of flexibility that can be liberating.

I find part of the draw to teahing in creative programs is the element/factor of a "non-linear" process. (controlled chaos! lol)
Perhaps the challenge and excitement of being able to improvise and shift gears to accomodate new situations each session is part of the satisfaction many Instructors find rewarding and fulfilling. Many of the careers in the creative fields we are teaching are students to become successful in also operate in this same "non-linear" mode. Is good practice I think!

It is not uncommon to find yourself shifting between various categories Jessica. For some instructors, each quarter is very different. The key is to find ways of being flexible and gracefully adjusting to the changes.
