Electronic or paper lists?

I know that electronic lists are all the rage, and that I could keep my task and to-do list on the computer, or my smartphone, but I prefer to do everything on paper still. Thoughts?

I used to use paper post-its at my desk at work, and I found myself enjoying the physical aspect of crossing things off. Now I have moved to electronic lists, but I need to get better with using my online calendar too, so I can make that transition as well.

One thing I've also thought about was using google docs, so I can access my lists from whatever computer I'm on, and I can update it from the classroom, computer labs, and at my various jobs as well as at home.

Hi. We should all use whatever works best for us and whatever we are comfortable with. Because I am involved in many different endeavors, I use a computer database that lets me prioritize and categorize tasks, record when I have to start a task and when I have to finish it, et cet. There are many dozens of items on my list in four levels of priority. I could not do this same work on paper. But sometimes I still use paper because of its convenience.

I prefer paper also and a pencil. I feel I can rearrange better that way and see further into the future with tasks at a quick glance.

This is true Amber. Sometimes pen and paper can really help us get our thoughts organized. Seeing everything on paper can really help you gain clarity.

I actually do both- I have a rough draft on paper then sit at my computer when I have a minute and put them in order. The reason is sometimes when I think about what I need to do and jot it down, it may not be the order in which it needs to be done.

It is paper for me... It takes me more time to format a list on computer--after I login and all that. Besides all that I can see it better!!

I do too Shawn. Despite all the advances in technology, paper lists also work best for me. Everyone is different. Do what you know works best for you!
