Prioritization

IF an instructor does not establish a "to do" list in order to accomplish the days' objectives, then the students will not receive the necessary material for the topic in study.

I have a full time job during the day so prioritazion is key, and a 'to do list' that is organized according to importance and urgency helps me start and finish a day sucessfully.

I agree. To do lists will help instructor prioritize multiple tasks/ objectives that need to be accomplish for that day. Without a list, and with a chaotic scehdule that most instructors have to deal with on a daily basis, it is so easy to miss a topic, assingment, discussion that will add to the student's learning. Lecture may also appear fragmented and instructors not ready if there is no list /plan as to what to discuss for the day.

In order to deliver a meaningful lecture in an efficient and effective manner to broaden student understanding and comprehension--it would be to the instructor's advantage to organize his lecture and thoughts (ie important concepts, terms and/or other important objectives)in order to culitvate a conducive learning environment.
