Thanks for sharing Jennifer! What a wonderful quote!
This quote has helped me:
"The secret to success is making very small, yet
very consistent, changes.
Or to make it short; Baby steps, baby steps in the
right direction.
Never underestimate the inevitability of gradualness."
Ranita, A lot of great questions. The way we were raised, and the habits that we formed in the past can be hard to change. Old habits die hard. I recommend starting to evolve slowly. Everything doesn't have to happen overnight. Just start making slow and steady modifications to your routine and you'll be where you want to be in no time!
Hi! I need some help with this. I teach it and it all makes since until I have responsability for my success. I know conditioning has a lot to do with how you were raised (those habits!!). there are times when I have what I need for my task and never complete it!!! NO, it doesn't make since -but my mother did also!? How do I make since of how I was raised and what makes since while it's being done then right after (a deadline or missed courtdate!)Regret!! Please can someone help me with this? Ranita
Sounds tough terry. Yes, we've got to put first things first. Prioritization can be a big help, but when we're busy, sometimes accomplishing tasks still feels overwhelming.
I think you intended to say ..."put first things, first...", What I got out of the material was to priortize, and deal with the most important items...the pressing items, and allow things to fall into place. I stress a lot. Work a very, very busy schedule. Time management also adds to the stress. While I'm struggling to use this material and incorporate it into my daily routine. Stress still remains a constant at this point.
