Stress is bad

Too much stress can be bad for you. Try to balance your life. Don't take it personnal.

Paul, This sounds really stressful. Part of being a good instructor is doing a detailed assessment of the students you are working with and their unique learning needs. This, and catering to those needs, can be a challenge on such a tight time line.

I agree, in my three week classes you find quickly how diverse the class is and must comply with each individuals needs quickly and with results. This can be very stressful at times but when you sit back and see what you have acomplished it makes the stress seem to desolve away.

David, So true. Student maturity levels vary substantially. Working in such a diverse context can be tough. At the beginning of each semester, it's good to take a step back and assess the landscape of student personalities we're working with. It can help us anticipate student needs as well as our own needs.

As we engage our student in the learning process we are challenged with the different levels of understanding and maturity in the class room

Bad stress is always around me. I am a very highly stressed individual. I must say most of the stress I do not have contrl over consideing my company is being restructured and jobs areflying out of the window. Stress is really bad for your health. It ages you quickly

Bad stress is bad but good stress is good. Bad stress could be working with a miserable boss that yells and threatens you every day, while good stress, which could be productive, is like planning for a birth or wedding. Remember not all stress is bad for your health.

So true Charles. Stress can make our every interaction more difficult. It can amplify the challenges we experience in life and cause greater problems when not addressed early.

Yes, stress not only hurts your health but also makes it harder to perform your job and in some cases, it may even cause you to lash out at students and co-workers which we all know can never achieve anything productive but only serve to increase your stress levels as you have now pushed away the very people that can help you.

Too much stress can kill you and most people create their own stress. Learn to not take things too personally.
