Benny, Time and stress management is a learned skill that takes practice. It's ok to start off with one system and end up with another. Over time, we refine our approach and techniques to better adapt to our situations.

I was of those students who did not have a to do list. As I matured and got experience. I learned and realized how important having a to do list is it help me prioritize and and keep me organized. So true Georgia. The time and stress management skills we teach out students now serve them well long into the future. To do lists are certainly valuable to entry level employees. It's amazing how many students don't come away with these skills upon graduation.

Jennifer, Good points. Whenever I don't keep a list, I worry that I might forget an important task. My list helps me keep my tasks in focus on paper and out of my mind. Really helps me focus on other things - more important things.

A to do list can be a very useful tool whether for the students or the instructor. It helps to keep things organized and if you check things off as you go, then tasks won't go by missed. I think students could definately benefit from making and using a to do list.
