Do List

the to do list allow you priorize the task to allow you to see the entire list and to place the more important tacks above the others

I have a 'do list' on my desk at all times. I try to keep the tasks simple until the due date gets closer- then I add small steps to complete.
I am finding that keeping a shorter 'do list' helps me to stay on track without adding additional stress. I usually rewrite my list twice week. I also try to put my list in plain view when I leave work so it is the first thing I see the next day. On occasion, I loose my list during daily work. When that happens I find myself in a short period of stress - wondering where my list is. I'm now trying to keep my desk a little neater.

Loida, Some instructors simply can't live without their to do lists. They are absolutely life changing to keep around. I'm glad you are experiencing the benefits every day.

Everyday I make my to do to list and makes me not forget anything. It's been a life saver for me.

Terizian, Sounds like the right approach. Yes, checking your to do list regularly is key. I have met some instructors who are great at writing out the list items but then don't check it enough to benefit from it.

This module has given me a better insight in completing my "to do" list since many times I find I fall under the urgency and leave some things not done that ought to be handled. Great information.

I do list to help me what to do first and i try to check it always

I do this because sometimes if you look at the amount of things you have to accomplish you can become easily overwhelmed. By prioritizing them you are better able to see what is most important and you can also see what you have achieved.

I have been utilizing 2do lists for years. Not only do they keep me on task, but allow me to prioritize and accomplish my tasks and duties as an effective manager.

I think this a great idea and I see that some things I was doing became less and less important. The things I should do remained and was completed

Mary, Yes, when we look at all our responsibilities at once, the priorities often pop out and are easy for us to see.
