Time to rush
It’s always a very good idea to get things done right away, so you don’t fall behind and have to rush to get the next task done on time.
Roosevelt, Yes, making sure that we don't save everything until the last minute can make a big difference - especially for priority tasks. When we prioritize, we can see our upcoming deadlines more clearly and better anticipate the needs of people who count on us to deliver.

I feel that doing this would increase your stress.If you prioritize your tasks and don't put them off to the last minute would help decrease the stress level.

I wanted to ask what you do when you have more task's at hand than possible. I find it is important during a busy day to find more time to complete all task's at hand.
For example:
On end phase Friday we as instructors have a long list of task to complete, grades, grads and still get done with enough time to prepare for the next course. It can seem overwhelming but helps me ist to stay calm relax and let my natural survival skills shine.
Marcos, This is mostly true. Sometimes, however, we experience the challenge of immediacy and that can be detrimental. Every once in a while, it's good to take a break - even if we have tasks in our queue.
