To do list

This helps us to do what is more important than others things

Christine,

I think you make a good point regarding regaining control. To do lists really put you in the drivers seat when you have too many tasks to keep track of at once. While they take a little up front investment, they can make us feel much more comfortable about stressful situations.

I feel the "To-Do" List is a great stress management tool as you do. I often find that when I don't create a to-do list, I am actually more stressed because I feel a lack of control over my day. It is important to have reminders of the different tasks that need to be completed on a daily basis. It can be hard though when it seems like there aren't enough hours in the day to complete the tasks. I do sometimes worry about the prioritized tasks and completing them in an appropriate time period. I just tell myself that everything will get done eventually.

I agree. I keep my "To do list" on my smart phone and it beeps and reminds me of things that needs to be completed and the time I scheduled to complete it.

I agree! I make a these list everyday. Don't stress on the small things. Get your job done right and anything extra that you get done is a bonus! The to do list has helped me a lot in the classroom.

Clayton, Wonderful to hear! Yes, to-do lists have a way of making everything feel so much more manageable.

I agree. I have just recently started making a 'to do' list and it does help me with my stress levels.

I agee. It definitely keeps me organized and less stressed

Earline, Excellent to hear. Sounds like the list is working well for you. If it gives you the feeling of control and decreases stress, that's a great start!

I think the to do list is wonderful. I use this tool to keep me on track both at work and home. As I cross off things that are done, I can feel my stress level decrease.

If the bulk of the "to do" list is a series of recurrences, it may be beneficial to whittle down the time it takes to complete all the tasks by creating efficient flow to the tasks.

I find that using a "To-Do" List helps me with stress management. After the item is written on the list, and my list is prioritized, I can stop worrying about the task. I know that I will complete the task at the appropriate time. This will fail if you do not keep up with your list on a regular basis.

The "to do list" is a great tool to use. It will keep you on task. Also, it will enable you to be more organized in your workplace. As a result you will feel less stress in your assignments.
