Time & testing
When I look at testing & timing, I feel it is important to use different methods of evaluating because it not only helps me assess the "students more accurately" but also plays a direct role on time management.
Sounds like you've got an excellent system worked out Crystal. It's important to both leverage a variety of test items to streamline grading while at the same time make certain that we are fully assessing learning.
I would agree. I give a variety of different type test items to make sure I assess the student's understanding completely.
This is a great point when dealing with cognisant learners. I administer short answer tests to get a "read" on my students.

I do intend to checkout all the sites indicated in this part of this training. I am already good at managing my time, but there is always room for improvement.
I feel that you are correct and I do the same with my test in that I give essay and matching together or a combination of others.
