I agree, my excel speadsheets for each class save time. I also copy the roster directly to the speadsheet from my online source, this saves more time and prevents any typos on my behalf.
yes i agree, i have an excel spread sheet. that will calculate the homework and test grades.it really works for me.
Absolutley, over the past 8 years we have gone from hand calculating grades to a fully automated grade systems. This system allows us to program a what is to be graded at the beginning of the course and allows us to coppie from class session to class session. This saves an enormous amount of time and there is no need to worry about incorrectly calculating grades.
