Habit building

A time saving habit that I've picked up has been to consolidate certain tasks for certain parts of the week. This has helped to create some balance in my work load so that I don't feel so overwhelmed at times.

Sounds like you have a great system in place Maria. Yes, proper time management can really help us separate our work and family life.

I dont want to bring my work at home so, proper time management is an excellent habit that i want to keep so i can enjoy my family when i get home and not worry the tasks that i havent finish.

I have benefited from a habitual daily process by adding particular benchmarks with my "to-do list" as part of my time management process. This starts at home and flows into my work schedule. This seems to work hand-in-hand with staying on task and reducing anxiety at work and home. Additionally, when more is expected, it doesn't seem to be as over-whelming.

It also helps to have a specific time of day when you are more effective for the difficult tasks.

It seems like each class a ebb & flow that allows me to evaluate where the students should be in the learning process. This allow me to build positve habits to better conduct the class.
