OFFICE SPACE THAT IS SHARED

WHEN OFFICE IS SHARED IT TAKE COOPERATION FROM EVERYONE TO MAKE IT WOOK, BUT IT CAN BE DONE.

It is difficult sometimes to share a classrom with a messy instructor.

Everyone involved has to their part in making it work. Things will go much smoother and everyone is happy.

I agree sharing office space as to be a great partnership. I you work out a system I think it can be used as an asset.

That's excellent to hear Michael! I'd love to know what you both are doing right to make that shared space work so well.

I agree that it can be done. I have shared an office with another instructor for more than two years and we have not had any issues (good thing he is easy going).

Indeed. But if your office made does not maintain a neat and clean environment, it's ok to raise your voice and see if you can work toward that goal together.

This is indeed a true statement. It helps when the individuals you share your office space with respects the space and maintains neatness and cleanliness.

It's great to hear that your student enrollment is up Marfie. But I understand the growing pains of trying to scale.

Indeed! Though it's often luck of the draw for many instructors Marilyn. When we're lucky and get paired with someone good, our lives are easy. When we're not, we have to work a little to get things where we need them to be.

SHARING SPACE DOES WORK WHEN THE PERSON U ARE SHARING WITH IS NEAT AND WILLING TO MAKE IT WORK

With our number of students growing, More staff and space is limited . However, It is for the students, as long as we have a place to sit and work in for a moment of time is great. Plus we also get helpful tips and resources when we share spaces.

This is true Rodney and it doesn't always happen. As instructors, we've got to learn about the personalities of our office mates and make sure we plan accordingly. We've also got to make sure we're great office mates too.

Sharing an office can be an ideal situation as it realtes to bonding and building morale among your teaching faculty--however, I must admit the assignment of office mates--must be like a "good marriage" to avoid personality clashing--even then it will work out great if all office mates conduct themselves maturely and always be considerate of each other and never loose focus of why they are sharing the office--"its for the students"

I actually have a friend who was chosen to share a classroom with another instructor. They divided the room into equal parts. However, they also had their students interact at times to provide a change of pace in the classroom.

being concederate of the other people involved is very important so that it reduces stress between the people involved
