I agree because if you let them students want you to stop everything to grade their test. We resently got a Grade Master(scan tron) it really makes grading easier.

This is a very good point. You have given the classes a set time and place where they can get their grades. By this you have cut out the guess work on there part and they shouldn't feel the need to ask you when you have already given them a reference point.

Good point. I tell my students I usually get things graded within 24 hours, but not always and to check their online grades for updates. I don't give out grades by phone nor do I give grades out ahead of time unless in special circumstances. This cuts down on the number of students coming to the door in small groups to get information ahead of time.
