Grading
Instructors need to keep strict grading records so that they do not mees up when final grades are due. How many of you out there keep strict grading records such as Excel spreadsheets?
I use Engrade too, but I am a bit concerned that I could potentially loose these grades due to technical problems. I have recently considered using a backup but realized that it isn't time effective. So I print up student reports that are generated by Engrade on a weely basis and store them in a folder.
John, Sounds like you have an organized and efficient system in place. Excel can be a wonderful tool. Keep up the great work!

I keep uptodate record of my grade in my grade book and in my online excel spreadsheet.
I use Engrade to record all of my grades. It works for me.
I keep records of all my grades. As well try my best to put my grades in everyday so I do not get behind if I have a full class I will have 1600 papers to grade in a matter of three weeks so staying on top of it is a great deal of importance.
