I do not have to share any space at my full time job. I have 2 desk and i know where everything is at exactly.
I recently starte to share my desk and it has caused a few issues here and there since I am quite organized. I'm thinking I will better define now, with labels and color codes included.
Sharing space is very hard for me. I am a very organized person & I have a place for all of my belongings.
Glenda, Yes, perhaps so. Bosses also like it when their employees are more organized because it often means they will do a better job at completing their tasks. So it's likely a win win.

Hello tonia I agree I love having my own personal space. But I have had the challenge of sharing a desk with someone and it was a good feeling because I'm a very organize person.
I share an office with my boss. There is a file cabinet in my classroom with 2 drawers half empty. I am going to ask to use the 2 drawers to organize as I will be teaching day & night in that room. I think My boss will appreciate me decluttering his office
I think sharing space is very hard. I understand that faculty can be large in numbers and it would be impossible for everyone to have solo space. But it is true that space should be defined.
