My cause of stress

I find that stress creeps into my life and it is the result of procrastination. I find that stress results in lack of sleep for myself and my family.

Procrastination is definately the cause of most of my stress. Most often I feel spread too thin. I have the mentality that "no one can do it as good as me" and have a hard time deligating authority.

I think that for some people procrastination or stress are problematic but there are those of us who actually like to and work better under pressure. I feel that it is important to be self-aware and realize what methods work for you individually.

Many instructors are in a similar position Grace. The outside things going on in life can combine with work stress to make us feel overwhelmed. Getting everything on a list and addressing a balance of both work and life tasks can help.

I totally agree that procrastination causes unecessary stress induce through our own fault. I struggle with outside things going on in my life adding additional stress to my work life.

This is true Jennifer. It's easy to feel overwhelmed with work when it accumulates. Knocking out tasks little by little over time is usually the best approach.

Excellent example: procrastination, postponing the work to a later time can result in stress, because you will reach a point where this work needs to be completed and if you don't organize yourself correctly, you will be overwhelmed with work.

This is true Byron. When we procrastinate, various stressors can emerge that would otherwise not be present.
