Stress Indeed

I, like most, live with stress. I can relate to all of the sources mentioned in this section. I find that simple meditation (of any kind) can help you stay focused, as well as give you a break from reality.

Yes I agree, also breaking away from the norm and making a complete change that can be beneficial and rewarding.

Exercise in general helps with stress. I try to incorporate it into my everyday routine. My students also notice that I don't sit down much because it keeps them focused and also helps my energy level. I don't think I could sit and teach!!

I feel stressed out all the time even though I use to run after work then recently started school again myself sometimes I dont feel like I have an extra 20-30 min to run. Much less the energy, but after this I may have to do something as a me time. I would hate to "Loose it" in front of my students or co-workers.

This is indeed true Sheniqua. Looks like you've identified some great stress relievers. I'd be curious to know which ones work best for you!

Yoga, walking, running, all of these are great stress relievers. It is imperative that you find a healthy coping mechanism because stress is a real problem that can cause real health issues if not taken seriously.

I started yoga recently. Of course it's good exercise, but the meditative breathing I learned has helped me the most. I use it throughout he day when I think students are going to drive me crazy.
