Stress is perceived and to often a crutch

I feel stress is something a person uses as a crutch. Sure most people feel stressful at times but who is really putting on the stress.
You just do the best you can and let the chips fall.
Maybe you don't belong in the position your in, you made the choice so either live with it or change what ever is bothering you.
You may have to forget about getting that new car, pool, bigger house you think you need, but you have the option.

So true Alice. I have observed the same thing in many instructors. It's as if they thrive on stress. On one hand, this approach motivates them to get a lot of work done. On the other, they live very intense lives and it's not always a healthy approach.

I sometimes think people like stress. They like telling people how stressed they are. This is how they identify themselves, with stress. They would feel bored if they lives were not stressful.

Agreed Kodee! Simplified expectations, spending and even routine can all make life easier.

I agree with that. You can make your life stressful by taking on too many responsibilties or by living beyond your means, I think a simplfied life can be so easy.

That's true Lauren. Some stress is personally inflicted. It's tough because we have high expectations about ourselves and what we want out of life. Sometimes we have to take a step back and remind ourselves of what's truly important. When we do, we are often in a far better place.
