Ha! What a wonderful outlook Erin. Thanks so much for sharing. Yes, crisis can certainly be perceived as an adventure. As for many other things in life, our outlook often frames how we perceive and handle stress.

Sometimes I have to slow down and really look at how I am reacting to a situation. I do have some automatic responses that are not helpful.

Once another instructor and I found ourselves in a very difficult situation at our school and he said we have to keep positive. Then he asked, "What is the difference between a crisis and an adventure?" I knew what he was getting at and said, "Our perception?" He smiled it helped us manage our "adventure".
