Peace
I desire peace in my life. Therefore, before I get stressed out, I try my best to find do or find things that I enjoy...such as playing computer games. This really helps me move forward with stressful situations.
My stress level is beyond what I can handle lately and I do try and do many of the things people have mentioned here. I love Sudoku and it is an opportunity to use my brain on something else so I don't have to think about what is stressing my out. Reading is another venue I use. I stopped for a while stating "I did not have the time" but have since made the time and it helps.
Fun! It's nice to hear that you've found such a great outlet Marie-Christine! It's ok to just have fun every now and then doing the things we most enjoy.
I usually pull out my playstation 2, yes I'm behind a model. I enjoy playing grand theft auto where I can misbehave, and drag race, etc. It's fun, truly most of the time I will do my required tasks first and use the game playing as my reward.
I love my job, but I sometimes work from early morning to midnigt. I get so busy that I do not have time for myself. In order to give myself some peace, I will take five minutes every day to sit somewhere quiet and NOT be at work.

I have tried Sudoku and it is relaxing! I often find puzzles help to clear my mind.
Have you tried Sudoku? Believe it or not, it is relaxing.

There are various ways to keep stress at a minimum. It is an individual matter - listening to music, reading uplifting quotes, playing a computer game. Each person knows what works best for him or her - but it is important to take some time out of the day for some relaxing technique.
I agree wholeheartedly. Peace can be the nidus to a comfortable and productive
