Levels of stress

I find that I have different levelsof stress.
1. Being that I am not familar with the course.
2. Not having taught the course.
3. Feeling that I will not be very successful with student. Did ii get the information across.

Then there is my outside personal stress. Relationships of family, friends, health, money etc.

I agree, I have different levels of stress as well. I find that I have to learn to adapt no matter what, put that stress aside and run the classroom. You cannot let stress, class related or not, interfere with your student's learning experience.

I agree that there are different levels of stress. One week my personal life is stressful and as soon as that calms down, then there is something at work that becomes stressful. Ups and downs alone are stressful!

For sure! Everyone has different levels of stress and we all handle it differently. The stress that you describe is spot on with a few of my stressors at work. We are currently rolling out a new program and all teaching new classes. It is tough because it feels like we are back at school cramming for an exam.
