Stress

Stress can be dangerous. Some people think it's productivity when in actuality it can damage you. It weakens the immune system and could also casue hypertension and burnout.

I agree with you. We need to find a way to reduce stress and also how to cope with them.Getting enough sleep and exercise are good ways to help reduce stress.

Judy, Sounds like you've got a great approach to stress reduction and one that's working really well for you. Yes, balance between work and home life is key. It's great to be able to go for a run after work too. There, we can really release the stress of the day. Early nights help too and can help us press the reset button before morning.

I believe stress is a major factor in most of our lives.We all experience some type of stress.
There has to be a balance between home and work.
I find that after work running seems to release the stress caused from the day.Going to bed early, getting a restful nights sleep also seems to help. Stress can certainly take its toll on ones health.

Yes, all the researches are in the favor of this point. Now its known that stress can cause serious cardiac effects due to continuous sympathetic overactivity. Stress with increased epinephrin becomes a physical cause of many diseases. The issue is that we keep thinking about it or worrying about it but dont try to solve the issues that cause stress ( or can not fnd a solution). I like the idea of making a Stress List and then try to take care of the causes that are causing it.

I now use my lunch time to release my stress it seems to help
