stressed out
hear is a classic example i took over an class from a instructor that quit I was using his clip board and mail box till the class was over to make sure I got all the mail for that class and there was paper work on the clip board old roll sheet ect I come in today and the clip board is gone and the mail box cleaned out NO one knows anything aboutit
Jviveros, That sounds like a tough spot. Colleges are dynamic places and we've often got to roll with the punches. Our flexibility is key to our success, but it can be tough to offer when we carefully try to organize our teaching spaces for the best learning outcomes.

Michael I to agree this would be very stressful,I also had a situation entering my class room only to find that it had been decorated for an activity that student services had planed but i was not told by management about this and was told to go find a room that was not being used was not offerd any help and i also had to move my training aids STRESSED.
Exactly, we often worry about what is stressing us out, but what about our students. Remember some of them have children and other jobs, so their stress is just as big and real as ours.
I have to aggree with that statement also can you imagine the stress it put on the students in class.Where did my paperwork go and will I get the grade that I deserve?
That, in my view, is a classic management failure. Whomever is coordinating course assignments should be making sure there is continuity, particularly in a hand-over situation.
Someone has to know something about it, otherwise, logically, the mailbox would still have stuff in it and the clipboard would be there. The way I see it, there was a communications breakdown which caused you to lose that material.
However, who ever was in management at the time should have tagged that stuff as 'yours' right away upon your taking that class, IMHO.
wow! now that would stress me out! i canr believe the clipboard and everything was gone. obviously someone has issues somewhere, and thats enough to cause uncertainty and doubt... no one needs that!
