[What's Stressing You Out?
Honestly, the most stressing me out is traffic.
I think what stress me out the most is if I have unfinish work. I like to be done with everything before I leave work and then come in the next day with a fresh start.
My mother and I both Agree with this stress. We have both found that on a drive between work and home it is good to have an audio book to listen to in the car. This keeps you from getting irritated while driving because of the time it takes to get home. It also works well for driving long distances, the time passes much quicker and you find yourself not wanting to get out of the car even once you have reached your destination.
I agree about traffic, it is crazy in my city but I have learned to buy books on cds or a sermon from my church and when traffic is getting the best of me, I listen and relax!
Henry, That sounds tough. Sometimes being in confined environments with a lot of people can be very stressful. I should note that some people are able to use train rides to their advantage. Because they are not driving themselves, they can occasionally multitask and do work like grading.

I don't deal with traffic other than humans. I ride the train to work and it is one of the most stressful ways of commuting there is. Especially on the later nights when there is alcohol influenced passengers.
Dave, Your assessment is spot on. Each individual is different. We respond to different stressors in unique ways. We must customize our approach to dealing with stress accordingly.

Multiple jobs, not understanding that I cannot do everything perfect, and traffic. I travel almost 1.5 hours by car to get to work for the first job during rush hour… UGH .
Today there is so much people stress over. It could be at work or home. Those can be dealt with or reduced, sometimes very easily sometimes not, but there are things we must deal with every day that we have no control over and we can’t change. It may be traffic, weather, other peoples actions even things on the news, in the government, or the world. Who knows, different things stress out different people. There is no cookie cutter answer for it. I think it must be dealt with on an individual basis. Some people need help that may include counseling, some just a cold beer at the end of a long day.
