Sleep
I think this is a arge factor. Thoughts?
Agreed. Having a good night sleep can make a world of difference Bruce. It's so important to invest a little time in making sure the next day starts out right. It's not always possible with a busy instructor schedule, but do it when you can!

Getting plenty of rest is the first thing one should do to relieve stress.Just try it. If one wakes up tired you can bet it is going to be a long stressful day.
Exactly! When we reduce our stress as instructors, this actually helps everyone - including our students.
I agree with this on other levels, too. If we as instructors try to work too hard and don't take the time for rest and sleep, we are hurting ourselves and our students. We're not as useful if we're always completely exhausted.
Indeed! Sleep really can help us focus better on our daily tasks.
Sleep is an important factor. Getting the appropriate rest helps in focusing on everyday tasks.
If you get enough sleep at night, it makes it easier to perform during the day.
Lisa - Yes - it does play a large part. I can feel it by Thursday after days of up late. I try to make up a little on the weekends but still feel it taking a toll.
