healthy coping

I find simple exercise helps cope with stress in sevral ways. As a way of healthy coping, it also helps with breathing, it helps with your engery level(fatiuge) to be productive through out the day and helps make me tired so I can sleep better. Regular exercise helps me with my weight, that is one more stresser I don't have and if I am out and some one wants some ice cream I don't feel guilty if I ran that morning.

Shamar, So nice to hear. I'm sure this stress reducing technique is something your dog very much enjoys too!

I also started working out a few months ago. I have more energy, concentrate better, and deal with stress much better. It is a good idea if your health permits it.

Interesting perspective Patricia. Thanks for sharing. Yes, bodies in motion stay in motion. It's energizing when we keep moving.

When I do not exercise I notice that I remain tired and just do not feel right. When you feel tired in the afternoon it is best to just get up and move. I also find that exercise helps me to sleep better and longer.

Excellent to hear Rhonda! Yes, for many instructors, walking is the best exercise. It's low stress and easy on the body.

Indeed it does Siane. It makes you feel really good too. So, it's one of the best coping mechanisms you can engage in.

Sounds like a wonderful and healthy coping mechanism for you both Christin. Just getting fresh air and walking a little can do so much good in your life.

I enjoy taking my 15 month old baby boy for a walk in the stroller after work. It gives me a chance to reset & go into the evening more relaxed & I get a little exersize too! it is a good transition from work to home time.
