I do too! Massage releases endorphins and balances hormones and balances me.
It sounds like you need to go ahead and check it out Hector. Massage does work well for many people. It could very well work for you. Never know until you try.
You bring up a good point LaMonica. Sometimes stress expresses itself as physical symptoms - like neck tightness. It's important to address both the problem (stress) as well as the symptoms holistically.
You are right, I was stressed out to the point that I was experiencing the neck tightness. I could not get rid of it and decided to try a massage. I was so relaxed and refreshed that I told the massage therapist that I would like to take his hands home with me. It was a "Calgon take me away" moment.
I've been told that massages really work, but I've been skeptical. I have really been contemplating whether or not to get one. Really I've been leaning towards it more than away. I will let you know how it turns out. :-)
Wow, sounds like a great method for you and enjoyable too Karinya. Thanks for sharing. It's great to hear that the effects can sometimes last for weeks or even months. Sounds like a great investment.
