Stress

I agree with the module's contention that exercise is a good way to deal with stress. Sometimes I make excuses and claim I don't have enough time to exercise, but ultimately, I end up more frustrated, stressed, and unhappy than if I had just exercised. More time is wasted feeling sorry for myself than anything. I use the P90X dvd's, and have found that even doing half the workout is a great stress reliever!

Albert, So true on both fronts. A little bit of exercise helps a lot. For many instructors, once you get started with a little you can find yourself doing more and more. But getting that small start is often the hard part.

I think it's a good idea to remember that even a small amount of exercise is better than no exercise at all. Unfortunately it is easier said than done.

I agree that exercise can be addictive, in a good way. Sometimes it's hard to get started, but once we get into a routine it gets much easier. I know it's hard to find the time. Even exercising a few times a week can make a big difference.

I also have a hard time carving out space for exercise, but the rewards of exercise keep me coming back for more. I always notice I feel better when I exercise. If I can get a work out prior to class, my class always runs more smoothly.
