coping with stress
When I feel that I am getting stressed out, I drink tea and do things to relax outside of work. Take yoga classes, go to a steam room, do things that help me relax so that I can refresh before going back
If think it is good to go out to eat with friends and talk about thing that are going on at work. It helps when you talk about it.
When I am stressed out I turn to my faith.
Darlene, Dance is a wonderful way to get in shape. It's a lot of fun and we can do it with people who we want to spend time with. It's great to be able to dress up and go out to exercise too. What an outlet!

I like that idea to excersie. I started a dance course. Its is great. I feel I have more energy now. And feel alot better.
Clifton, So true. Just getting out there for 15 minutes a day can make a huge difference in our outlook and fitness. Note that small amounts of exercise typically lead to more. Exercise can be addictive, and within moderation, can be a very good thing.

think it's a good idea to remember that even a small amount of exercise is better than no exercise at all.

I have been working as an instructor for two years now, and it wasn't until this year when I decided to start exercising for my health that I realized that not only was the exercise benefiting my health but my stress levels had dropped tremendously and I was working more effectively at work. I know Exercise 5-6 times a week for at least an hour and I have never felt or looked better!! :)
Morgan, Tea and yoga can definitely help. Thanks for sharing your coping strategy. The steam room sounds wonderful. Note, for other instructors who might be interested, you can often find these in your local gym.
