team involvement

Jeopardy is a great way to incorporate relevant class information, its fun, breaks the ice and gears the student for the course

I like playing Jeopardy as a review before a final. I will split the class into teams and have a little competition. I do like the air plane making that was mentioned in the last chapter to teach the importance of teamwork.

I have played an ice breaker in which the students walk around and try to discover things about a person, and fill in a grid at the same time...with categories in each grid. I don't remember what it is called but it made us feel more relaxed and friendly toward each other.
(i.e. find a person who can speak 3 languages, find a person who has more than 2 pets, find a person who has worked in the medical field, etc.)

Hi Valentina,
My experience with Jeopardy is that the students enjoy the game, and they have fun while learning.
