the syllabus
Hello,
The syllabus allows the student to get a feel for the class as it moved through the various topics.
I don't see the huge importance in putting a lot of time making the syllabus look pretty because I find that the majority of my students don't ever look at it after the first day.
Hi Amanda,
First of all, if you think the syllabus is boring, the students are going to think the same way. As an educator, you have to make borain material exciting. Emotions come from the top (you) down (students). I have found that having the students read each section of the syllabus out loud and having a discussion on each section generate excitement.

The syllabus also contains goals, objectives, topics, and policies of the course. I find it boring to go over the course syllabus, so I'm glad to know there are other delivery methods to make it somewhat interesting to the students, as well as, the instructor. Can you give me anymore suggestions for making the syllabus presentation more interesting for the class?
