Students Focused

In one part of the module, they mentioned putting ourselves in the student's shoes. I think its very important to remember how we felt when we learned the materiel, when framing our lessons. By doing so the lessons will be more educational and the students will know that you care.

Hi John,
I convey myself as a professional with their best insterest at heart, and this has caused students to feel comfortable as well.

I think that is the key to reaching adult learners. Conveying yourself as somewhat of a peer that merely has a distinct knowledge of the subject matter allows the student to relax and learn

Hello Tom:

You are correct. I often try to remember what it was like learning the material I now instruct and how my instructors responded to my reception of the material. In considering those class times it creates for myself a greater understanding and creativity to bring to the classroom structure in turn enhancing the learning process.

Hi Tom,
We've all been students before, therefore we have been there and done that. We can certainly help students stay focus based on our accomplishments.
