Projects
I think it is important to assign projects that students can use in their current jobs.

I am not a big fan of group projects because you have those students who simply will not pull their weight. I let the group members evaluate each other. I tell them they must be honest in their evaluations, and I also evaluate each student. I will fail the student if it has been proven that he/she did not do their part. I will grade partially if he/she did some of the work.

I have tryed group projects and find only 1-2 are doing all the work so iwent back to individual .How have you assested equal particapation for each menber ? And is there some way you handle some one who just lets the rest of the group do the work?
I have assigned group projects so they can interact with each other and learn to work as a team.
