First Day of Class and The Mid Point in a course
I have a lot of "adult learners" and if on the first day we show success from past students, after seen this they will be more engaged from the start.
As long as these points are restated at the mid point in the course as a reminder to the students of what can be achieved.
I continually remind my students they can succeed in completing their class/program if they are willing to put the time into the class. My adult learners are very unsure of themselves and don't obtain any confidence in themselves for a while.
