Classroom management
Managing a classroom involves structrure and discipline.
Hi Lashanes,
Our students really suffer when we choose to go into the classroom unprepared, totally not fair to the student. Preparation is key!

I completely agree! It takes a lot of discipline and time management to effectively manage the classroom! Just like our students, we, as the instructors, have "things that come up" or changes to our daily plan that occur that can have an impact on our classroom management. Showing discipline and good time management skills can help to maintain the effective structure of the classroom.
I completely agree, we as instructors should be able to manage our time effectively and not interrupt the student's flow just because we are not prepared.
Classroom management involves time, talent, and learning that what works with one section of a course might not work as well with another section of the course, as instructors I believe we have to learn how to be flexible and learn how to flow and chage plans without the students even recognizing this.
Hi David,
Absolutely! Students need to and want to be in a class where structure is practiced and discipline is followed.
