This module was very effective due to the fact that my classes experience students from a varied range of ages and education. I experience students that are not coimmitted to the course material and I must engage them at all times.

Students do not want to be lectured to all the time. Variety is good for everyone. Students learn more and enjoy hands-on activities.

It seems to be much easier in the lab setting of my course when the students have hands on they enjoy the interaction of the course. My letures class on the other hand needs much work especialy when they are more the an hour long.

You are right! Students love, enjoy, and need hands-on activity to get a full understanding of the lesson. A lot of students learn better by doing.

My personal experience as a new instructor has led me to realize that students want to be engaged and cling to the hands-on interaction for a since of feeling accomplishment.
