Activities
I can come up with some fun activities to keep everyone engaged in school, but sometimes my mind is blank. What are some of your ideas?
Hi Brenda,
We should reward our students. It is a great incentive to push them to try their hardest.

Jeopardy is always a fun game.
Having small prizes is always good.
Working in groups and coming up with a group answer is effective as well!
Hi Julie,
Students enjoy playing games to learn. The perfect mixture is to have fun while learning.

Hi Bakhriya,
I also like to use a variety of teaching methods to keep students engaged, such as role playing, scenarios, case studies, group projects, simulations, etc.

i like to include new activities in my teaching to make my student more motivated and interestedin matereal
I especially enjoy watching the students take on the challenge of a mock trial after they acquired enough knowledge to play the part of the defense attorney, the prosecutor, the witness, the defendant, etc. They utilize their research and communications skills.
Hi Laura,
Students typically enjoy case scenarios. This type of learning is very applicable to what students will encounter in the real world.

I use case scenarios at the beginning of the class and have students answer what they think should be the outcome of the case. Then I read them the actual outcome of the case and they evaluate whether they were on point.
Hi Theresa,
Show your excitement for the course. Use variation in teaching methods, role playing, simulations, scenarios, case studies, hands-on activities, etc. Pick a seasoned instructor's brain.

I wish I could include activities in my teaching that would help the students stay interested in material.
Hi Sandy,
My curriculum doesn't allow for a lot of fun activities, but I do like to do little small gestures for my students, such as give them smarties (candy) to let them know that I think they are really smart, dum dums (candy) to let them know that they are are no dummies, 1000 gram candy bar to let them know that soon they will be making thousands, etc.
