Hello Judy,
You sound a lot like myself. I've been told that I am too reminding, but I feel it is part of my job as an instructor. I am truly concerned about my students' success, and I feel you are too.
Patricia

I apply these same methods. I break down the work with a succession of due dates. I explain this on the first day and show them how the work is spread out throughout the course. I also post my due dates on the bulletin board and remind them what is due by the next day.

Hi Bryan,
Why do you agree? Do you see yourself as a procrastinator?
Patricia

great thinking i totally agree

Hello Stan,
I love this technique. It really works, and it is especially beneficial to the procrastinators.
Patricia

I can't agree more. Task dates should be given in steps to avoid missing the due dates for the finished project.

Hello William,
Isn't it more manageable whenever you have many due dates to get a project done. Before the students know it, they are done with the entire project. William, I like how you look out for your students. Continue to do well.
Patricia
