COOL TO BE NOISEY?

LOOSE THE IPOD BILLY!

I do the same thing. I read every expectation to the students the first day of class as well as handing it out for them to follow along. If it is clear in the beginning as well as consequences for if they do this, I can follow through with what the syllabii states, reference it, and they won't feel caught off guard.

I make my class rules known on the first day of class. If I set the standards from the very beginning then there is no misconception of my expectations. I verbally read ALL class rules out loud to my students and I leave the floor open for any questions they may have and I have them sign a form stating that I have discussed the rules with them and they acknowledged and understood the rules. All iPods or MP3 Players are not to be in a classroom setting.

Hi John,
Ipods are totally uancceptable in my classroom.
