Different Students
it's understandable that you will encounter different types of students. As an instructor, being able to identify these type of students first had so the you can get a handle on it as soon as possible so you can take the proper measures should a dituation arise.
I agree with this. As an instructor and a teacher (of elementary aged students), I love the diversity of students. Each group of students (center stage, inattentive, etc.) brings a challenge in how to best engage the student so that they can learn and the class can move forward positively. I found that flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt are the keys to success in dealing with a wide range of students. I will also add though that the most frustrating part of teaching for me is the one or two students who take up the majority of your non-teaching time because of "bad" behavior (i.e. talking, not handing in assignments, etc.)
