Engaging students
I usually have a student activity right after each lecture and it seems to help my students engage in one another.
Keeping students interested in Math is not always easy. Although they use it every day, they don't always see the relevance of areas or volumes. I've acquired some books on math tricks which I inject into my lectures and that has really helped.

First, tell them about one of your professional experiences in which you had to used the content knowledge that you are about to present. Next explore what their professional interest are and them address their choices buy highlighting the relevance and usefulness of the content matter in their particular future career.

I asked them questions durning Class . I ask all students so they know they should be listening.
Uhmm. I have not done that before because I teach a lab class. I am sure i can find an activity to do. Do you have any suggestions?
