In my years of teaching I have found that some of the most difficult students are those who have had troubled backgrounds. We should never lose patience with a student; most students are willing to cooperate when there is some structure in their lives. We as educators are the key components to getting those “unruly†students on a better path.

I concur! Listening is key! Sometimes students simply just want to be heard because they need to vent for whatever reason.
