Center stage
This was great I have a student in My clinic that always have to be center stage I love the advice that I have learned I will apply it.
I can relate to the center stage student. Unfortunately I see myself in them. And don't like what I see. I like trying to utilize them though. And must realize that is not me.
center stage students can be very effective in the class room. they do ask a lot of questions whether they are "silly" or not real world experiences have shown that the world does not read the book. questions from center stage students can help with the course and help other students understand what is going on.
The best way to prevent a "center stage" student from controlling your clinic and hogging all the patients and or clinical experiences would be to give them meticulous assignment(s) like getting all the patient's vitals for the shift.
