dealing with challenging students is challenging

challenging students help teachers develop and learn, bolstering the capacities of both teacher and student.

Hi Joey,
I too have witnessed this after teaching for 24 years. Every day is different and no two challenges are the same. You have to really deal with every student on a case-by-case basis.

I have been teaching in post secondary education for 14 years. I have faced so many challenges, one of these challenges are, the students themselves. They are the challenging students. In every class you will encounter at least one challenging student. It can make teaching tougher but it can also make it very challenging. I never allowed these type of students disrupt other students. I create more challenges to keep them pre-occupied.

That statement is true, dealing with challenging students are challenging. When I encounter students like that, I welcome the challenge. Sometimes you will get students to think that they know more than you. What you would do in a situation like that is to divert critical thinking on the student to make them ask the question and allow you to answer.

Hi Ryan,
Challening students can certainly help you look at things for all angels. Challenging students can break you in right. You learn quickly how to deal with them.
