Personalities

Each classroom is made up of separate and interesting personalities. the fole of the facilitator is to meld these into a unit which is receptive to instruction.

Turn the lesson into a discussion instead of a lecture

I try to use the more outgoing personalities to bring out the more timid people by having students "teach" different sections of a chapter to the class

I totally agree with this.

I have found with 40 years of teaching you get the same personalities each term, just different names and faces. Experience helps identify the student personalities.

I take in consideration, that all people have different personalities...but what I expect is respect from students & I inform them that they will respect from myself as their instructor as well.

Hi David,
Yes, an instructor's job is very challenging! Each student's personality is different, and you must be able to adjust to all students.
