Worksited!?! Plagiarism
Many of my students are forgetting to site their materials. They don't mind getting written up for plagiarism incident reports. I think that we need to follow up and track these students better. There needs to be a reputation developed that stresses the importance of not plagiarizing. How can I monitor this behavior after students get out of my class?

One of the techniques I use when students do not properly cite their work is to tell the studnet that I cannont grade the work as it is, so they can re-write it if they like, but they must provide a properly formatted and cited paper. If they do not want to, then I do not grade the work. If they do, I will accept a resubmission, however it will be subject to point deductions since I clearly indicate in my course expectations that students are required to use a minimum of three outside sources and adhere to APA requirements.
