Giving a test in a full classroom

I have found that having numerous versions of tests takes care of this problem. It is more work for us as Instructor's, but it is more beneficial to the student's and much easier to clarify and have concrete evidence if a student is actually cheating.

Hi Michael,
Trying speaking with your DOE to create at least four different versions of the test. It is easy, all you have to do is scramble the questions.

I operate in a very crowded classroom so space between students isn't an option. We have only two versions of the test so it is very easy for students to cheat. I usually walk around the classroom to prevent cheating even though the CEE lesson recomended against it. If I don't, their eyes wander to eachother's papers.

Another great plan is to have students place space between themselves and the student next to them. I also walk around among the students while they are testing to discourage them from cheating.
