Cheating Students
Standing in the back of the classroom has help avoid cheating from students.
I use this tactic all the time, because I can see more from the back of the room. Basically when students look back at me I'm already looking at them,so don't even think about cheating becaus you only hurt yourself in the long run, and besides it's just as easy to study as it was for you to cheat. THINK ABOUT IT!
Yes, this is does work.
I always tell students, too, (just for the record) that if they do intend to cheat, be sure the one they cheated off studied...
And I always add that it never fails that students who do cheat end up with the same failing grade as the one they 'borrowed' answers from...and the cheating student may have been able to pass had they just tried on their own..
