How do you address cell phone with adult student during a test?
I always informs students that cheating in the classroom will lead to failure down the road. I tell them that if you cheat here, you will cheat in your carrer.
That is a good idea. I think that is fair to the student because you dont want to give the student a 0 because that would not accuratly assess his knowledge of the material.

At my institution we have a no cell phone policy on in the classroom. If the cell phone goes off during a test, the student is sent out of the room and marked absent, but the student is given the opportunity to complete the test in another room.
